BWSC 2025 - aCentauri Team Battery Lead Talks About PowiGaN Efficiency
Bridgestone World Solar Challenge is underway. aCentauri Solar Racing Battery Lead Kim Kleinlogel spoke to Mr. Green's Blog about a DC-DC converter featuring PowiGaN-based InnoSwitch3-AQ switcher IC, provided to the team's Silvretta solar race car by Power Integrations. It achieves 95% efficiency across both light and full loads with a broad output range of 5 to 60 W.
