HiperPFS-4器件将一个连续导通模式(CCM)升压PFC控制器、栅极驱动器和600 V功率MOSFET集成在一个(接地引脚内部相连)薄型功率封装中。HiperPFS-4器件可省去外部电流检测电阻,从而避免与其相关的功率损耗。其创新的控制技术,可在整个输出负载、输入电压和输入工频周期内调整开关频率。
这项控制技术能够提高整个负载范围内的效率,特别是轻载条件下的效率。此外,由于其很宽的带宽频谱分布效应,可以降低对EMI滤波的要求。HiperPFS-4采用先进的数字技术来实现输入电压监测、输入电压前馈调节和功率因数改善,同时核心控制器采用模拟技术来维持极低的空载功耗。
HiperPFS-4还具有一个集成式非线性误差放大器,可改善负载动态响应。用户除了可设定的电源备妥(PG)信号外,还可以选择功率限制功能。HiperPFS-4具备Power Integrations的整套标准保护功能,例如欠压保护、过压保护、电压缓升/跌落保护和迟滞热关断等。此外,HiperPFS-4还提供功率MOSFET逐周期限流和安全工作区(SOA)保护、限制输出功率的过载保护以及引脚到引脚短路保护。
