MotorXpert Suite for BridgeSwitch
MotorXpert™ Suite is the complete software solution for developing BridgeSwitch™ integrated half-bridge motor driver designs.
The MotorXpert Suite bundle includes:
- MotorXpert Motor Control Configuration and Diagnostics Tool
- BridgeSwitch Single-Phase BLDC Fan Motor Control Code Library
- BridgeSwitch Three-Phase Sensorless FOC Code Library using Integrated Phase Current (IPH)
MotorXpert is an application designed to aid the configuration, tuning, and diagnostic of Power Integrations' Brushless Motor development kits. It provides a graphic user interface (GUI) allowing easy manipulation of input parameters, as well as a terminal emulator for interacting with the motor controller in serial mode. In addition, a motion scope feature displays linear graphs of important controller variables that can be viewed in real time.
BridgeSwitch Code Libraries
The code libraries for single- and three-phase motor control are designed to be a starting point for creating firmware to control BridgeSwitch-based inverter technology. They allow real-time adjustment of motor speed and torque via the MotorXpert GUI. The new code is MISRA C-compliant (Motor Industry Software Reliability Association), portable, modular and allows the user to modify any of the software layers.
