21ic Webinar - Efficient Power Conversion for Electro-Mechanical Equipment
Power systems for factory and industrial equipment vary in output power: from auxiliary supplies at 10's of W to force machines requiring 1000’s of W. All share common requirements of relatively short periods of high loads followed by long periods of idle mode, where standby or hibernation modes seek to minimize power consumption.
In this session, we will look at ways to achieve maximum power conversion efficiency across the load range, including standby and sleep modes, without sacrificing no-load or peak-load performance. We will examine how this can be achieved with a minimized BOM to provide accurate, cost-effective, reliable power conversion.
A broad output power spectrum will be covered: from low-power switches, to mid-power designs leveraging power factor correction and LLC.
