太陽能

Photovoltaic Icon效率是太陽能裝置必須面對的一大挑戰,不僅從技術角度,從經濟角度來看也是如此。

使用Power Integrations高度集成的SCALE和SCALE-2閘極驅動器,可實現成本優化的驅動器解決方案,與基於離散驅動器級的傳統解決方案相比,可顯著減少元件數量和PCB尺寸。集成還能提高可靠性,減少組件意味著減少潛在故障因素。使用SCALE和SCALE-2閘極驅動器改善整個系統的平均故障間隔時間(MTBF)。

過電壓保護也是太陽能應用的一大技術挑戰。

當負載在標準溫度下連接的正常操作下,太陽能逆變器的DC鏈路電壓遠低於電源開關的最大阻塞能力,因此有足夠的電壓“餘量”來處理電源開關關閉時可能出現的任何過電壓。這表示使用有源箝位方法可以輕鬆實現對開關的可靠保護。

然而,太陽能逆變器(更確切地說,太陽能電池板)的開路電壓,特別是在低溫下,可以導致增加的DC鏈路電壓接近電源開關的最大阻塞能力。在此期間,任何標準有源箝位電路都可能導致電源開關意外接通。這種狀況輕則導致額外的損耗和增加EMI,最嚴重的可能是太陽能轉換器的完全損壞。

為了解決這種情況,Power Integrations開發了一種精密的有源箝位技術,名為“動態高級有源箝位(DA²C)”,可自動激活和關閉箝位功能,使太陽能逆變器能夠在所有應用條件下安全運行(見圖2) 。
